Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:    I want to buy a book and receive it now. What should I do to enable me to print the pages now?

A:    Simply click here and follow the instructions on the new page.

Q:    Is The Legend Of Butch The Bully autobiographical?

A:    No. It's strictly fiction.

Q:    Is Reflections Of A Nobody true?

A:    No. It's a made-up story - strictly fiction.

Q:    Is Principles Of Immortality true?

A:    The author, Jimmie L. Sherman, believes that the combined set of laws revealing why reincarnation works is true. And if the laws are true, then the answer is yes. (To reexamine those laws, please click here.)

Q:    Sherman's Principles Of Immortality implies a belief in reincarnation. Who does Sherman believe he was in his past life or lives?

A:    Regarding who he was in his past lives Sherman says, "Though I believe that I've lived many different lifetimes, I don't know who I was in any of them. But, very likely, whoever I was, I was aware of being me...living in the ever-present now. Further, if all of the scientific principles in Principles Of Immortality are true, then I confidently believe the following: In each lifetime, I had a different set of memories; each set accumulated in a different corresponding set of environments and experiences. And I had no conscious memory of this current incarnation's set of experiences. However, the déjà vu, unforeseen coincidences, and premonitions that I sometimes perceive (in this current incarnation) cause me to believe that I am possibly remembering a repeated past; a past that flows from the future into the present simultaneously and in coordination with the repeated reassembly of my physical matter. See the Law Of Same Conditions in Principles Of Immortality." Further details of this view can be found in "About A Cyclic Predestination" in one of Sherman's books titled Theory Of Evolution. Q:    In Principles Of Immortality, Sherman says that some word definitions have changed with the passage of time and distorted written history and the Bible. If so, how does Sherman feel about the idea of a God, Judgment Day, and Creation - In the beginning, etc...?

A:    Though Sherman believes in the Supreme Creator, he doesn't believe in a beginning or ending. He says: "Before the so-called 'beginning' and after the so-called predicted 'ending', eternity possibly existed as it now exists and will always forever. And during this non-ending eternity, the Creator is always now creating and recreating (always reusing this same forever-existing matter and energy consistently to perpetuate the processing of our eternal lives). Axiom: The self-perpetuating activities of matter, energy, and the unchangeable laws that consistently govern, will always reveal a general view of the Supreme Creator forever creating us who exist - or rather, forever recreating us. And a small portion of that inconceivably vast creative-work performed by our precious creator (throughout this vast matter/energy-filled universe) can be seen as the Sun warms us and gives us animation and life.

Father Sun lifted ocean waters into skies,
      And the fluffy liquid floated
On the winds to shore again!

Mother Earth - pregnant with her multitude of seeds -
Pulled the sperms of Sunlight down
      With the gentle falling rain!
      Title: 'Birth' by J.L. Sherman."

Sherman also disagrees with the so-called "Big Bang" Theory. His reasons are logical, valid and justified in his book titled Theory Of Evolution. (See Order Blank - Click Here.)

Q:    Is Sherman the same Jimmie Sherman who wrote Th' Workin' Machine?

A:  Yes. In 1964, while working as a stock clerk for a company that manufactured computers, Sherman wrote Th' Workin' Machine as a satirical warning about automation. Later, in 1966, while serving as a founding member of Budd Schulberg's Watts Writers Workshop, he recited it nationally on an Emmy nominated, NBC television documentary. Time Magazine published it. And the late, great TV personality, Steve Allen, set it to music.

                Th' Workin' Machine
I was workin' real hard on my job one day
When my boss came on th' scene.
He said, "Son go in an' get yo' pay -
An' make way! - for th' workin' machine."

I rolled my eyes - I sho' was sore
My boss, he sho' was mean.
He said, "Son, you know I don't need you no more -
      You're fired! - 'cause I've got a machine."

Well, I got another job that followin' day
      A-workin' harder than you've ever seen -
'Til I heard my boss in a loud voice say
"Look out!" - It was another machine.

Now I'm workin' like a slave an' doin' real fine.
I'm gettin' these floors so clean,
An' I'm hopin' to keep this job of mine
Away! - from th' workin' machine.

Q:    How does Sherman feel about the computer today?

A:    He feels that the computer is a great blessing that saves time and energy and allows knowledge and creativity to blossom and be shared with a greater number of people. And he encourages people to become literate faster, and to learn to use the computer and the Internet as a tool to avoid becoming victims of Th' Workin' Machine. He says, "The computer is like the ink pen. The invention and mass production of the ink pen (along with the printing press) changed an illiterate culture to literate. And those who decided to never use a pen never learned to write...in a world where everyone reads and writes to survive!"

Q. Can Mr. Sherman show me how a person transitions from one life into the other reincarnated lives?

A: Yes. Mr. Sherman shows us as he says this: “The following is an example of one person’s Reincarnation Cycle into different lifetimes. This is an example of only three of the many different lifetimes of one individual. Though there are many different incarnation variations, each variation will eventually be repeated, over and over again – just like the specific varying quantities of spots on the faces of the dice are continuously repeated (see Law Of The Rolling Dice in Principles Of Immortality).

Example of 3 different lifetimes of the same one individual:

The Reunion point of Sperm and Egg is the point where old indestructible particles of matter re- accumulate to repeat the formation of the same old sperm and egg.

The re-accumulation process repeats forever, like the same particles of water in a container will repeat to form ice, then water, then steam, then water again, then ice again, continuously in a cycle (see the Law of Cyclic States). For, that is the nature of our indestructible, everlasting, ever-flowing matter.”

Q. My mother died a few years ago. If she is reincarnated somewhere here on earth, how would Mr. Sherman suggest that I go about finding her?

A: Mr. Sherman recommends the following: “You might find her in any country in the world. Also, if she died a few years ago, then she’s only a child who is only a few years old. So, compare the small fingerprints of children around the world with your mother’s fingerprints, until you find a matching pattern. And, if it’s true that no two different people have the same set of fingerprints, then a matching pattern reveals the reincarnated individual.

I pray that our precious Creator will bless you with good results, and that you will read Principles Of Immortality to an elderly relative, or to comfort someone who is terminally ill and afraid to die. Also, I pray that you will remember to let others know to come to this website for this type of scientific information. And I thank you for your continued love, generosity and support.”
